Together with this delicate & elaborate cantus firmus mass on the Binchois chanson, the program includes a very nice independent Credo of Ockeghem, as well as the final motet with preliminary attribution. I find the latter to be believeable. The other composers represented are Jacobus Barbireau (d), and Matthaeus Pipelare.. Other recordings in the Clerks' Group's complete Ockeghem .

The Clerks' Group does a terrific job not only of interpreting Ockeghem's music as it appears on the page, but in finding the center of each piece in terms of divining the proper pace of one piece versus the next and developing a sound that still blends but in which individual voices are still apparent.
