Jul 19,  · Even though it was mostly filler, it did have a few songs with great hooks. This album has deeper lyrics and is more melancholy, but there are no killer melodies. The best song on here is the first single: "Something Real." There's also a derivative feeling at times. Sometimes Mr. Mister sound like The Police, sometimes Toto, etc/5().

For their third and final record, Go On, Mr. Mister made few changes. The record contained an uplifting pop/rock vibe that was consistent with their first two efforts. They continued to write songs in the vein of '80s pop bands like Mike & the Mechanics and Genesis, and their lyrics continued to center around the vaguely spiritual themes explored in their hit singles "Broken Wings" and "Kyrie."4/
